Minimum Course Requirements (MCR)

The Minimum Course Requirements apply to all sixteen campuses of the University of North Carolina system. In addition to the following minimum course requirements, individual institutions may have additional requirements. Students are strongly advised to confirm admission requirements at the schools of their choice.

Individual constituent institutions may require other courses in addition to the minimum requirements. For some transfer students and students who graduated from high school prior to 1990, special considerations have been made.
