CAMPUS SUMMARY
A-B Tech's mission statement - dedicated to student success - says it all. From its small class size, averaging about 15-to-1, to its 60-plus curriculum programs that offer a wide variety of career and college transfer choices, A-B Tech is dedicated to helping students reach their goal -- regardless of whether it's to begin their life's work or continue their education at a four-year college or university. Located in Asheville, a city consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the country, A-B Tech has grown from its beginnings as an industrial education center in 1959 into a 145-acre, 22-building comprehensive community college that serves one in three residents of Buncombe and Madison counties.

UNIQUE PROGRAMS
A-B Tech offers more than 60 technical and pre-baccalaureate programs in allied health and public service education, business and hospitality education, engineering and applied technology, and arts and sciences. A variety of noncredit classes also are available through the college's Continuing Education Division.
