CAMPUS SUMMARY
ECSU is one of 16 public institutions within The University of North Carolina system. Located in the Albemarle region of northeastern North Carolina, ECSU offers students the opportunity to receive an outstanding liberal arts education while enjoying a variety of exciting recreational and cultural events. Favored by a mild climate, ECSU is in close proximity to the world renowned Outer Banks famous for the Wright brothers' first flight and its beautiful beaches. UNIQUE PROGRAMS
ECSU, a liberal arts institution, offers excellent programs through its four schools: Arts and Humanities, Business and Economics, Education and Psychology, and Mathematics, Science and Technology. ECSU is also known for its unique programs in Music Industry Studies, which has two concentrations: music business administration and music engineering and technology. Other programs that offer unique research opportunities: mathematics, computer science, geology, biology, technology, airway science, pharmaceutical science, and teacher education, to name a few.
