Application Procedures

After reading the instructions, please complete the online application as thoroughly as possible. Your failure to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information on this application will be grounds to deny or withdraw your admission, or dismiss you after enrollment. When you are finished, click the 'SUBMIT' button on the left column of any application screen.


Common Application Materials

  1. Completed application form;
    1. $60 application fee for MBA, Master of Education, Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Science in Nutrition
    2. $40 application fee for Pre Health Post Baccalaureate Certificate
    3. $25 application fee for Post Baccalaureate study (PBS) in MBA, Master of Education or Master of Science in Nutrition
  2. Official transcripts from all colleges and universities attended in sealed envelopes. Bachelor's degree must be from an accredited institution. For international transcripts, a certified translation into English with a course-by-course evaluation including GPA is required, and should be mailed directly from the pre-approved organization (refer to your specific programís website)
  3. Two completed recommendation forms from people with knowledge of your professional work or academic ability within your area of work or study, available in online or printable versions (not required for PBS)
  4. Resume or CV

  1. MBA
    1. Official report of scores of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT®) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE®), mailed directly from the testing organization, or approved waiver, if the applicant qualifies
    2. Responses to MBA essay questions (email Microsoft Word® or PDF document to graduate@meredith.edu or mail to address above)
    3. Application Deadlines: June 1 for Fall admission, November 1 for Spring admission, April 1 for Summer admission

  2. Master of Arts in Teaching
    1. Official report of scores of the Graduate Records Examination Test (GRE®), mailed directly from the testing organization
    2. Minimum GPA of 2.5 on 4.0 scale
    3. Responses to Master of Arts Education essay questions (email Microsoft Word® or PDF document to graduate@meredith.edu or mail to address above)
    4. Application deadlines: March 1 (early decision) or June 1 for Fall admission

  3. Master of Education
    1. Official report of scores of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE®) or the Miller Analogies Test (MAT), mailed directly from the testing organization
    2. Copy of teaching license
    3. Responses to Education essay questions (email Microsoft Word® or PDF document to graduate@meredith.edu or mail to address above)
    4. Application deadlines: June 1 for Fall admission, November 1 for Spring admission, April 1 for Summer admission

  4. Master of Science in Nutrition
    1. Official report of scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE®), mailed directly from the Educational Testing Service
    2. Responses to Nutrition essay questions(email Microsoft Word® or PDF document to graduate@meredith.edu or mail to address above)
    3. Application deadlines: June 1 for Fall admission, November 1 for Spring admission, April 1 for Summer admission

  5. Pre-Health Post Baccalaureate Certificate
    1. A 500-word personal statement (email Microsoft Word® or PDF document to graduate@meredith.edu or mail to address above)
    2. Official report of scores of the SAT, GRE or MCAT, mailed directly from the testing organization
    3. CV showing relevant clinical and academic experiences
    4. Application Deadline: March 15

How to Use the Meredith College Graduate School Online Application

To complete the online application, simply type your answers in the corresponding fields or select your answers from the popup lists (where applicable).

After you complete a screen, click the NEXT button at the bottom or on one of the sections listed on the left column to move to a different screen. Before you are allowed to jump screens, we will inspect your data on the current screen for errors or inconsistencies. If errors or omissions are found, you will be returned to the screen to correct your answer(s). Otherwise, your data will be saved and you will proceed to the requested screen. We also allow you to skip to another screen without your new data being saved. Be aware that if you use the Skip & Jump function on the left column, data on the current screen will not be saved and will have to be re-entered prior to submittal.

When you have completed the application please check your work. When you are ready, click the 'SUBMIT' button located on the left column to submit the application.
