Once we receive All official documents, we will update our system and forward your file to an Admissions Counselor for an admission decision. I understand that any misrepresentation of facts could be cause for denial of admission, cancellation of admission or suspension from North Carolina Central University. Furthermore, I understand that any offer of admission is conditional upon satisfactory completion of any course in which I am currently enrolled, or in which I will be enrolled, prior to matriculation at NCCU. If admitted, I further agree to obey all rules and regulations of the university as stated in the student handbook, the university catalog and other university publications. By submitting this on-line application I agree to release my records to the Registrar's Office for permanent record-keeping and to departmental advisors. I hereby acknowledge that the institution may verify the information set forth herein (from sources accessible under law to the institution) pursuant to reasonable inquiry where needed; but the institution may only divulge contents of this application as permitted under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 if I am or have been in attendance at this institution. I further state that if I have provided my social security number, I have done so voluntarily and with the understanding that it will be used only for student identification purposes.
After reading the instructions, please fill out the online application as thoroughly as possible. Your failure to provide complete, accurate, and truthful information on this application will be grounds to deny or withdraw your admission, or dismiss you after enrollment. When you are finished, click the 'SUBMIT' button on the left column of any application screen. Print the application agreement statement that appears after you submit the application. If you are paying by Cashier's Check/Money Order, please return a copy of the agreement with the nonrefundable $40.00 application fee to the address below. Your Social Security number is requested for student identification purposes only, but you are not required to furnish it. If you do not submit a Social Security number, a student identification number will be assigned to you. You cannot receive federal financial aid without a valid Social Security number. If you are paying by Credit/Debit card, please print one copy of the application agreement statement for your records.

After your application has been successfully submitted and processed, you may check your admission status as we update our system with all documents sent to our office. You may track your admission status by going to the following link: https://www.nccu.edu/checkyourstatus. In order to check your admission status you will need your Banner Identification and PIN number to log in (you will receive, once your application has been successfully submitted and processed). Your Banner Identification will be located at the top right corner of the letter forthcoming. Your PIN number will be your six digit birth date (i.e.,mm/dd/yy).
