Prepares incoming and outgoing mail for distribution. Examines, sorts, and routes mail. Loads, operates, and occasionally adjusts and repairs mail processing, sorting, and canceling machinery. Keeps records of shipments, pouches, and sacks; and other duties related to mail handling within the postal service.
